Digital Force Gauge Retrofit Options for Existing Morehouse Analog-Type Force Gauges
Morehouse Instrument Company has introduced new types of Digital Force Gauges and digital force gauge retrofit options. These new digital gauges offer improved performance and accuracy specifications such as:
- At 0.5 % of full scale, the new or upgraded digital force gauge is two times more accurate than traditional analog and digital force gauges.
- Repeatability, resolution, and reproducibility are significantly improved by a factor of 2 or better.
- Displays direct force values and does not need an interpolation table.
- Max hold feature to record the maximum force is standard
- Peak and Valley forces can be recorded
- New TIR function is not available on any analog or older digital models.
The Morehouse digital force gauge is programmed using 11-12 data points taken from Morehouse-accredited deadweight calibrations accurate to 0.002 % of applied force.
Additionally, it features the new TIR function when the gauge displays the difference between the maximum and minimum forces while recording the maximum and minimum values in memory. This function can be of major assistance in varying force applications.
Morehouse Digital Force Gauges offer high reliability and user-friendliness for a variety of force measurement applications.
The instrument features a built-in indicator and can be used to verify test machines, and weighing systems, or used to measure applied forces in various configurations.
The digital indicator displays the applied force values directly in engineering units and does not need an interpretation table to convert reading. Digital Force Gauges offer several features in a convenient, compact, and easy-to-use package.
